The First Nominations

Housemates nominated for the first time today.


Shortly after breakfast BB announced what was going to happen and at lunchtime the 15 housemates solemnly entered the Diary Room one by one and named their two selected most detested people. Of course some might pretend they love everyone (Rachel) But the truth is they do NOT like all the people there.

Alex was first to nominate and no doubt she had a lot to say,about Sylvia and Rex who she probably picked out in the Diary Room! On her return she said to Kathreya: "The public are going to be the ultimate judge and jury. It’s not us, the public are the ones who really get down with it. They love it, they proper love it." Alex knows the game. She knows that many people will hate her but there will be those who like me know we need the 'Alexandras' of this world to make a show like BB enjoyable.
Alex later went on to tell Mario: "It has to be done. If you are up you’re up, and if you go you go." Either she's preparing herself for the inevitable or she knows she's safe?

Other housemates had mixed feelings on today's nominations; Darnell found it easy today and that his mind was already made up but said nominating could become more difficult as the weeks go by and "emotions really get involved". Kathreya struggled the most with the process. "I don't know what to say and it has to be a fair reason," she told Alex. I doubt Alex's words of wisdom helped much then? Dennis was left "drained and deflated". "That is hard, I knew what I was saying though. It is difficult once you go in… [Big Brother] asks you everything."
