Scandal With The Votes Means Steph Could Return

The Daily Star reports Stephanie could be reinstated after voting issues on Friday’s show came to light.

It is alleged that huge problems with Friday night’s phone vote. Mario’s line was closed before the other phone lines were closed, resulting in their vote to evict him was not counting. This has left the producers of the show in a dilemma and they are considering giving Steph a second chance to return to the show

Steph has been reported to say in the national tabloids about a possible return and seeing Rex again; “He gives me butterflies in my stomach every time I look at him. He cried when I left and I definitely felt that there was something between us. There was that spark. I just want to be there next to him.”

The Star has said that websites have been jammed (Haven't seen that but sure I will now it is public knowledge) and its news desk was flooded with calls demanding her return.

An insider apparently said: “We always take on board what the fans say. And despite being evicted, Steph was a big hit on the show. There seems to have been some kind of confusion with the voting so maybe she deserves another chance, even if she just comes back as a surprise guest.”
Last night Steph allegedly said: “People paid money to get me out and it would be wrong for me to be able to go back and win. But I am not interested in the money, I just want to be with Rex.”
(I bet she said that - That's about as likely as Alex saying I'm joining a convent and vowing to never swear, bitch, backstab or argue again!)

The paper is doing something which I would agree with IF the voting story is true, it has a petition to get Steph back in and currently has 570 signatures (1332 17 June08).
It reads:
We, the undersigned, request and demand that Channel 4 Television Ltd (Channel 4) conduct an immediate investigation into the operation of the telephone voting lines for the Big Brother eviction held on June 13 2008. We make this request following numerous reports that the telephone lines for contestant Mario Marconi (Shaun Astbury) were unavailable for voting during periods of the Channel 4 eviction telecast, whilst lines for other contestants remained open.
In the event this is proven, and regardless of any projections Channel 4 or their broadcast partners may make in regards of how the vote would have unfolded, we request and demand that Channel 4 reinstate Stephanie McMichael to the house at the earliest feasible opportunity, in the interests of vote integrity and fair competition.

Good or bad publicity is still important for Big Brother and I doubt they care where it comes from?

ARGGHH! The Mail keep nabbing my pics but I assure you the Mutteroo thinks of the photos first.
