Rachel's Tippee Toes Needed For Miss Wales

All the stories are coming out now and I'm gradually getting there with my spin on them. You may have read some of them first elsewhere but NOT ALWAYS; and where else will you get the mutt spin on things?

It is our trainee teacher Rachel Rice's turn to face the media spotlight this time. It would appear naughty Rachel cheated to make a Miss Wales final — by wearing platform shoes to make herself look taller.

Yes I know you are probably very shocked by this tale. A trainee teacher should never cheat should they. Once a trainee teacher qualifies, they become nun/monk-like and lead a life of moral solitude, never drinking, smoking, or farting. If you believe that you were educated by Benedictines!

Rachel, broke the rules as anything which gave a “false representation of beauty” which includes the wearing of heels. But Rachel needed the extra height and so covered the four-inch heels with a long dress and this helped her to gain a place in the last five of Miss Wales 2002. This is a remarkable coincidence but 2007 BB contestant Imogen Thomas, also entered the competition and the pair became good friends. Imogen went on to win Miss Wales in 2003.

A fellow contestant who probably sold the story to gain herself some extra money is shedding a different picture of Rachel to the one she is portraying in the Big Brother house.
“She’s really self-conscious about her height and was more than happy to cheat to get round the fact other contestants were tall and slim.”
“Those other housemates in Big Brother should be really careful — Rachel will do anything to win.”

Miss Fellow contestant Hayley Jones, 27, said: “She cheated, there is no other way to describe it. "
Hayley Jones goes on to say that Imogen , who was booted out of BB7 on day 84, will have “coached” Rachel on how to get on in the show and that Rachel was still hugely ambitious after her former years as a child actor. Remember Davina telling us how Rachel had starred alongside Hugh Grant? Maybe this demure, innocent trainee teacher act is all that it is?

Hayley bitches about Rachel bitching and its the same old story of girls growing up and things that are said in nightclubs. OMG, if my friends could remember what I was like when I was younger, they'd have a heck of a lot to day about me but it is not what I am like now.

I don't know how to take this particular article except with a large pinch of salt. The only discrepancy in her story is that when she entered both Miss Wales in 2002 and 2003, she was doing her teacher training. It only takes four years maximum and she has already completed some training in 2002? Is she really a trainee teacher or is she a wannabee actress in dire need of work - Whatever the case as long as she keeps us happy and Endemol in profit then that is all that matters .........Oh and she gets her that bit part in that sad Z rate movie.

I was in Miss Wales with Rachel Rice and Imogen Thomas in 2003 and 2004. Rachel was lovely, chatty and very friendly whilst Imogen was quite cold and not in a very "friendly" mood on the day of the competition in 2003.

Rachel and I went to a less than z-list celebrity opening of a sushi retaurant in Cardiff in 2004 and I remember her as extremely driven and ambitious but very likeable with it. I wish her every success in Big Brother!
